WAYS OF EXPRESSIONS:

The second lecture of Tools and Technology was more impressive and informative even beyond my expectations. We were guided by our respected mentor about WordPress.com. WordPress.com is a website which provides us an opportunity to make our own site, we can upload our writings, creative digital work or any other information which we want to share on our blog. And yes it’s really interesting to know that there is a difference between .com and .org.

An exhibition of Ferrari: Under the Skin was discussed in detail. It’s an exhibition of Ferrari car’s display of different looks.

Its interesting to watch that how they selected a car for the purpose and the way of its display is superb.

While looking at this image one can observe the variety of angles and shapes selected for this exhibition. This was exhibited in London Design Museum.

It opens door towards lots of aspects of an item for display point of view. Including its shape, outside look, inside body, sizes, angles etc. This site also recommends lots of other exhibitions and museums. I enjoyed a lot after viewing this work. It also shows lots of handmade drawings and sketches of Ferrari car looks so impressive and also another way of display.

A book No Logo by Naomi Klein is also the part of our discussion. And articles search including Andrew Bogle and Zaha Hadid. Zaha Hadid was a British Architect. She was the first woman to receive the Pritzker Architecture Prize, in 2004. She was famous because of her radical DE constructivist designs.  Her buildings included the Heydar Aliyev Centre Baku, Azerbaijan, and the MAXXI museum of contemporary art and architecture in Rome.

So how to blog and search items from the world of internet and quality of work was under discussion. There is a page on facebook with the name of Lahore Archives, it has the data of important and historical areas, people, food, and golden times of Lahore. Likewise a lot of data is present we need to know these archives.

Technology offers us a lot to explore, to work upon, to think about, to search about, to test own capabilities and many more. It has many gates to enter.

We are supposed to enter something interesting on our blog. Which has something informative and new for the readers. So this archives search will help me a lot to work upon. Because there are number of members who are working in different fields and then share their updated progress on their blog. Some are working on historical information in short whatever knowledge you want to share, you are able to do this task. But first learn and observe previous work to get the right ideas and path. Which to some extent we learn through this lecture and will hopefully learn more by digging into the paths guided by our mentor. All those movies including books which I am unable to watch due to hectic classes routine, will definitely go through after getting free. Because those are also definitely very much knowledgeable for me just like earlier sharing.
